Junior Bus Saver

Priced at £8 for 7-days unlimited bus travel (£30 for 28 days), you can save money on under 16 bus travel with a System One Junior Bus Saver!

So why buy a System One Junior Bus Saver?

Concessionary fares cost 80p for each trip, meaning that under 16s pay at least £1.60 a day to get to school and back - over a 5-day school week that's £8. With a System One Junior Bus Saver, you'll pay £8 for 7 days = more journeys for your money.

So that's travel to school and back sorted, plus evenings and weekends for free!

It's also on sale and for use right through the school holidays. You can use Bus Saver on most local operators (more than 20 of them!) AND the Yellow School buses too.

What are the benefits?

  • 7 (or 28) days unlimited bus travel on any bus* company, including Yellow School Buses. For a full list of bus companies accepting Junior Bus Saver, select 'about us/bus operators'
  • Unlimited use to and from school, at weekends and during school holidays too
  • Available to anyone aged u-16 (with a GMPTE u-16 photocard, see below)
  • Less hassle - buy up to 5 days before you want to use it - no queuing on a Monday morning
  • Much safer - always get home from school even if you don't have the money in your pocket
  • More convenient - once you have the GMPTE u-16 photocard you can get your Junior Bus Saver from any local PayPoint shop or GMPTE Travelshop
  • Proof that you've paid for your bus travel - non payment of bus fares is an offence
  • Valid for travel on Yellow School buses too
